We Brigid, Sinéad (Rice), Roisin (Corrigan) and the entire family circle wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us in the recent bereavement of Gerald Mulgrew, a dearly loved husband, father, brother, grandfather, father-in-law, uncle, and friend.

A special thanks to our extended family and friends who provided great help and support during Gerald’s final weeks. Your kind actions and words of comfort were greatly received. We would also like to thank the medical and support staff at Antrim Area Hospital who attended to Gerald during this time.

A special thanks to Fr. Paddy Hughes for conducting the Requiem Mass. Our thanks also to Nuala, Ellie and Peggy for the beautiful music and singing, it brought great comfort to us all. We would also like to thank the church sacristan, the Eucharist Ministers, everyone who took part in the funeral service and the grave diggers. A special thanks to Raymie and Claire and all the staff at the Mill Wheel Bar who provided food after the funeral.

We would like to especially thank our kind relatives, friends, neighbours, and members of the wider community who helped us during this difficult time. We thank all those who attended the wake/funeral and travelled great distances to be with us. A special thanks to all those who brought food, looked after the transport and the shuttle bus service, provided lighting, those who messaged, sent cards and for the many jobs that were carried out. We are forever grateful for your kindness and support.

A special thanks to Colleén and the staff at Niall A Loughran’s Funeral Directors for the compassionate, professional, and dignified way Gerald’s wake and funeral were carried out.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our deepest gratitude to all those who supported us during our loss. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

The month mind Mass for Gerald will be celebrated on Friday 5th January 2024 at 7:30pm in St Mary’s Church, Dunamore. It can also be viewed using the link below: https://mcnmedia.tv/Camera/st-marys-church-6

Gerald is forever loved and sadly missed, may his caring and kind soul be granted eternal rest along with his late son Fergal. St Heart of Jesus pray for them.
