The death has occurred of:
Gerard (Gerry) DEERY
5th August 2026 peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family in his 98th year, beloved husband of the late Philomena (nee Bryson), loving father of John, Briege, Brenda, Anna, Carmel and Philip Gerard, much loved father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Loving son of the late Patrick and Annie Deery, formerly of Stranagalwilly, and predeceased by all his ten siblings.
Gerry will be reposing in his home, 80 Tamnaherin Road, Gortinraid, Eglinton, Co. Derry, on Thursday from 2 – 9 pm and on Friday from 12 – 9 pm. Funeral from there on Saturday at 10.30 am for 11 o'clock Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Church, Tamnaherin. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Sadly missed and will always be remembered by his entire family circle.
