Gerard Laird RIP. Acknowledgement.
We the family of the late Gerard Laird would like to thank all those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. Sincere thanks to those who attended the wake, the Funeral Mass and the Crematorium, to those who sent Mass cards and floral tributes, and expressed their condolences.
A special thank you to Fr Eugene O’Neill for the beautiful requiem mass as well as his compassion and comforting words at the funeral service and to the Church Sacristan, for preparing the chapel. To Thomas Hamill and Rory Madden for the beautiful music during the service.
We would also like to thank Macmillan Hospice Antrim, the Palliative Care team, the District Nurses and the Care Workers, for caring for Gerard during his time here.
We extend our deepest thanks to the Funeral Services of Patsy Taggart and Edel who managed the wake and funeral in the most professional and dignified manner. Your support and guidance were invaluable to us throughout this time.
We are extremely thankful to Declan, Grainne and all the staff at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan for your kindness, help and support throughout.
It is impossible to thank everyone individually, but please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our heartfelt appreciation to all those who paid their respects in any way.
Gerard's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 17th January at 6.00 pm Mass in Holy Family Chapel, Coalisland.
