If I had known that day would be your last,
I would have done so many things differently.
The weight of regret may linger,
But our love will never fade.
You were, and always will be, a true character—
When your name is spoken,
The stories are always unique, always full of you.
I am so sorry I wasn’t there to say goodbye.
