The family of the late Gertie McKay, Carnlough, and formerly of Cloughmills, would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement.
We have been deeply touched by the kindness and love shown by our family, friends, neighbours, and the wider community. Your cards, messages and visits brought us great comfort and strength during such a difficult time.
Many thanks to Fr Fitzsimmons and Fr Con Boyle who celebrated Requiem Mass, Pauline McLarnon for her help and assistance during Mass, and to Eugene O’Dornan for providing the lovely music and singing. We would also like to give our thanks to all the Doctors, Nurses and Carers who cared for Gertie with such compassion; your kindness and dedication meant the world to us, and we will be forever grateful.
A special mention to Joe Cunning and Cunning Funeral Directors for their professionalism, the dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements, and their help and guidance throughout the wake and funeral.
Whilst we cannot thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation and thanks.
Gertie’s month's mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 10th May in St John the Evangelist Church, Carnlough at 11.15am.
