Gladys ABERNETHY (née Watters)
Abernethy (née Watters) October 17, 2026 (peacefully) at Silver Birch Lodge Nursing Home, Saintfield, in her 90th year, Gladys, 35 Aughagranna Road, Stewartstown, beloved Wife of the late Eddie, precious Mother of Lorraine and the late Alison, dearest Mother-in-law of Ronnie and Paul, treasured Granny of James, Sam, Heidi, Lucy (Jack) and Charlie, Great-Granny of Jacob and Hallie and dear Sister of Violet and Muriel.
Family and friends are welcome at the family home in Stewartstown on Sunday 3.00pm – 9.00pm and Monday 3.00pm – 8.00pm.
A private family burial will precede a service of thanksgiving in Donaghey Congregational Church on Tuesday, 20 October at 2.00pm.
