The heartbroken family of the late Godfrey Gill wish to thank all involved in their journey.
Thank you to Dr Julia Foy and Specialist Nurse Pamela Clarke (Parkinson’s care South Eastern Trust), Mr Sam Gray and Specialist Nurse Pamela Neill (Urology care South Eastern Trust).Thank you for recent support to Dr Bernardas Valecka & Dr Andrew Kerr, Grainne Toal, Andrea Corbett, Holly Lyons – HF Specialist Team (Cardiology care South Eastern Trust). To Dr Suzie Smith & Dr Jasrul Jamaludin, Specialist Nurse Lisa Gregg (Respiratory Care South Eastern Trust). To all AHPs & Nursing Staff on wards CCU LVH & 3A UHD during September admission – special mention to Katelyn Miller and Sharon Lyons, who took time for extra tlc. Thank you to Harmony social care team Andrew, Ricky, Joe who called with us to help support Daddy on the mornings of the last few months. Thank you to NI Hospice Nurse Rachel Turner who, although we only briefly met, was always happy to answer any of Daddy’s questions and facilitate any further communications required throughout other teams involved without hesitation. Thank you to Linenhall Practice Team for processing any requested scripts and to Knockmore Pharmacy for filling those without delay. Thank you to District Nursing Team Lisburn 2 who cared for Mummy but who in doing so also always gave time and support to Daddy, and to us, on their home visits. Thank you sincerely to Roisin McFadden, Celebrant, for her empathy and ability to capture Daddy’s personality, our parents’ devotion and our never ending love for them both in her wonderful words. Heartfelt thanks to friends, family, neighbours and colleagues who have supported us and who continue to do so during this so very difficult time of losing now both of our parents. Thank you to PSNI representatives Reece, Chris and Danielle along with Belfast Trust representatives, names we did not catch – your guidance and support due to circumstances on our very difficult first day of loss was greatly welcomed and appreciated. Lastly thank you to David Browne and entire team at Ronnie Thompson – once again you made our very difficult final steps seamless. We would be completely lost without you. Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Safe back in the arms of Mum – forget me not.
