Gráinne ROONEY
ROONEY Gráinne, (Rathfriland) died peacefully at Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home on 1st December 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of the late George. Much loved mother of John and Emma. Loving daughter of the late Michael and Eithne and cherished sister of Evelyn, Barney, Dermot, Maureen, Deirdre, Martin, Eamon, and Maria
Gráinne's remains will be reposing at her late residence 46 Lissize Avenue, Rathfriland, BT34 5DE with those wishing to pay their respects welcome from 6pm to 10pm this evening, Monday 1st December 2025 and Tuesday 2nd December 2025 from 12 noon to 9pm. Leaving on Wednesday 3rd December 2025 at 11.30am for requiem mass at 12 noon in St Mary's Church, Rathfriland followed by interment in St Colmans cemetery, Annaclone. House strictly private on the morning of the funeral.
