Harry Platt
Platt Harry, Redditch, England and formerly Fintona, Co Tyrone, died peacefully at home on Friday 4th September 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Fidelma (nee McCarney). Treasured father to Colleen Anderson, Michael, Daniel and Dean. Devoted Grandfather to his twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. Loving brother to Sidney and cherished brother in-law to the late Marie Gavin, Donal, Malachy, Aidan and Gerry Pat.
Harry will be reposing in Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona, Co Tyrone, BT78 2BY from 2pm until 9pm on Friday 11th September 2026.
Harry will leave Grianan House Funeral Home at 10.30am on Saturday 12th September 2026 for 11am requiem Mass in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route Harry will travel from the Carnalea Road, and along Main Street, the Tattymoyle Road and the Lisdergan Road to arrive at St. Lawrence’s Church for 10.50am.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving daughter, sons, son in-law, daughters in-law, grandchildren, great grand child, brother, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for him.
