Month’s Mind Acknowledgement for the late Harry Devlin.
We, the family of the late Harry Devlin would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement. Your presence at the wake and funeral, your kind words, Mass and Sympathy cards, donations to Life and Time and Newry Hospice, those who brought food and many acts of kindness meant so much to all of us.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Charles Byrne for the beautiful Requiem Mass and for the pastoral care and support he gave Harry and the family.
We are deeply grateful to Eugene, Dympna and Paul Lively of Peter Doran Funeral Directors for their professionalism and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Our thanks also to Thomas Devlin and sons for their professional preparation of the grave and its aftercare.
Thanks also to Eileen Mooney and Colleen Walls for the beautiful music and singing that added so much to the service.
Our thanks also go to Rathfriland Health Centre, District Nurses, Acute Care at Home team and Hilltown Pharmacy. A special thanks to the carers, whose dignity and compassion over the last weeks of Harry’s life brought so much comfort to Harry and help and support to the family.
To the management and staff of the Downshire Arms Hotel, Hilltown who with very short notice provided a beautiful meal for after the funeral.
We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation and thanks to you all. A special mass will be said for all your intentions.
Harry’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 1st June 2025 at 11.30am in St. John’s Church Ballymaghery, Hilltown.
