Acknowledgment from the family of the late Harry Quinn.
Fidelma and family of the late Harry Quinn would like to sincerely thank everyone for the love, compassion, and care shown to Harry over the past years, weeks and days during his prolonged illness. Your kindness and support meant so much to him and to all of us. We will always remember your thoughtful gestures and take great comfort in the care you provided.
We would especially like to thank all friends and family who attended to Harry, his sitters and carers at home, Ann’s Home Care, hospital staff at Antrim, Craigavon and Lurgan hospitals, as well as the palliative care unit at Ashbrook Care Home in Clonoe. We thank the primary care team at Loy Medical Centre Cookstown and the district Nursing Day care and all Allied Health Professionals who supported Harry. We ask that they continue to assist and support others during their times of need.
Harry’s family would like to thank everyone who called to the house to pay their respects including our local priests and to those who brought Mass Cards and served tea, coffee and sandwiches during the wake. Thanks also to everyone who sent the family messages or passed on condolences through social media, including GAA clubs.
We would like to thank Margaret Anne Conlon for the wonderful music and Father Adrian Eastwood for conducting a beautiful Requiem Mass.
We would also like to thank Conan and Pat from Laverys Funeral Directors for their support during a very difficult time as a family and going above and beyond and carrying everything out in a very dignified manner.
To Yana flowers for the beautiful flower arrangements and the grave diggers for preparing Harry’s final resting place.
Thanks to Mickey McElhatton and staff at the Greenvale Hotel for a delicious meal served after the funeral mass.
