The death has occurred of:
Helen (Nell) BELL
1st Anniversary
Precious memories of a much loved Mother, Mother-in-law and Grandmother.
One year since we last spoke to our mum.
One year since we last heard her voice.
One year since we gave her a kiss goodbye.
The hardest goodbye we ever had to say.
We wish… we wish for so many things, but most of all, we wish we could be wrapped in mum’s arms one more time.
People tell us it will get easier… but grief doesn’t work that way.
Sometimes, as time passes, it gets harder.
People going about their normal day-to-day lives, while inside we are screaming.
Some days the grief we try so hard to hold inside finds its way to the surface.
We miss her laughter, her voice, her advice and even the stern words when things weren’t done right. We miss all the little things we once took for granted.
Grief isn’t what we thought it would be. It’s standing still, but not standing still.
It’s watching the whole world around us continue to move, while we feel like we’re standing somewhere in the background.
Everyone is living.
Everyone is moving forward.
And we’re trying to work out how to keep going in a world that no longer has the sun
Forever loved and sadly missed by Ciaran, Catherine, Kaelan and Reece. Ashleigh, Stephen, Aimee and Ellie. Anne-Marie, Paul and Emily. Fiona, Thomas and Anna.
Mum’s 1st Anniversary Mass will take place on Saturday 3rd October 2026 at 6.30pm in Steelstown Chapel.
