10th September 2025 peacefully in hospital. Beloved husband of Rae, much loved father of Paul and Michael, and father-in-law to Diane. Also a devoted grandfather to Suzanne, Steven, and Jamie and great grandfather to Sam, Maeva, Halle and Katy.

A Service to Celebrate Dougie's life will take place on Thursday 18th September 2025 at 3.00pm in Antrim and Newtownabbey Crematorium, Doagh Road, Newtownabbey, BT36 5BU.

We lived a couple of doors down from Dougie's home in the 70's and 80's, and my late father John Quinn, who also passed away at age 92 this year, had wonderful memories of him. I remember Dougie playing tennis at The YMCA, across from our home and he was a super player. Our heart felt condolences to all the Knight Family at this heart breaking time.
