Henry (Sonny) Lappin
Derryhaw, Tynan
7th March 2024

The family of the late Sonny Lappin would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who supported us in our recent bereavement of a much loved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, father in law, brother, uncle and friend. Our deep appreciation and sincere gratitude goes to our extended family, friends and neighbours, for all their help, kindness and support during this difficult time. Thanks to all who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolences, brought food, sent floral tributes, helped with parking, those who visited the home and attended the funeral. Thanks also to Cordelia’s for the food during the wake. Thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of Tynan surgery and the Trauma Unit staff of Craigavon Area Hospital for their care and attention given to Sonny. Thank you to Middletown GAA for their guard of honour.
A sincere expression of gratitude is extended to Fr Sean Moore for his comfort, prayers and support, not just during Sonny’s final days, but also over the last few years and for his very touching and personal homily and Requiem Mass. We are forever grateful. Many thanks to all who participated in the Funeral Liturgy, the sacristan Martin and to Cathy Kelly and Mrs Hagan for the beautiful singing and music. Thank you to Armagh Blooms for the beautiful flower arrangements. Many thanks to Eamon, Martin and Patrick of EC Hughes Funeral Directors for the professional and compassionate way they attended to all the funeral arrangements. Thanks to our cousins and friends who prepared Sonny’s grave. We also thank McEntee’s Catering for the refreshments after the funeral and a special thanks to Tyholland for the use of their hall. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all. Sonny’s Month’s Mind Mass will be on Saturday 6th April at 12noon in St John’s Chapel, Middletown.
