We the family of the late Hugh Patrick Mc Elroy wish to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to everyone who offered their sympathies and support to us during our recent loss. We extend our sincere thanks to all our family, friends and neighbours who called at our home, brought gifts of food, assisted with tea or offered practical help. Thanks to those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, text messages, and online condolences. Thank you to all who attended Swift & Mc Caffrey Funeral home, dads Requiem mass and burial. We extend our sincere thanks to Fr John Halton for his pastoral care of dad throughout his declining health. We thank Monsignor O’Reilly who administered the last rites. We want to especially thank Fr Raymond Donnelly and Fr John Halton for celebrating such a comforting Requiem mass, it was true and fitting of Hugh’s deep spiritual belief and faith. A special thank you also to Karen Mc Elroy and Michelle Geraghty for the beautiful and reverent music and singing, the sacristan Geraldine Mc Hugh, all who participated in the liturgy and Eucharistic Minister Mary Rogers. Special thanks also to Mary of Howe’s Flowers for the beautiful floral tributes, Tempo Community Association for the use of St Mary’s Community centre and Joe Mahon along with his team at Mahon’s hotel for the much-appreciated food and refreshments following the burial. Sincere thanks to Ollie and Leo Swift, Swift and Mc Caffrey, Funeral Directors for their exceptional guidance, care, and professionalism during this difficult time. We are also grateful to those who prepared Hugh’s final resting place with such attention and care. We wish to acknowledge the medical care and support that Hugh received over recent times. Our sincere gratitude goes to the staff at The County Care Home, Enniskillen, we will always appreciate the support, love and dignified care that was shown to Hugh and us as a family during his time there. Thank you to Brookeborough &Tempo Primary Care Services, Mc Keevers Chemists, Fivemiletown, the Doctors, Nurses, and staff at the SWAH Enniskillen, all of Hugh’s carers from Lakeland Community Care and Western Trust Homecare Services. We are truly blessed to have received such love and support from all our relatives, friends, and wonderful neighbours. Your kindness has been a great comfort to us and continues to help us through this difficult time. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere and heartfelt gratitude from Hugh’s entire family.
