Hannon (Aghalee), May 14, 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Hugh, beloved husband of the late Agnes and dearly loved father of Angelo,Áine, Roisin, Aodh and Úna, a dear father-in-law to Jennifer, Mark, Liam and Teresa and cherished grandfather of Conor, Karen, Orla, Daire, Shane, Aoife, Aislinn, Fionnuala, Victoria, Jack, Hugh, Micheál, Meabh, Oisín and Paddy- Joe, and great-grandchildren Gracie Mae and Iarlaith. Loving son of the late Mary-Anne and Patrick Hannon (Gawley’s Gate), brother of John, Maurice, Dessie, Christy, Ann and the late Brendan, Eamon and Albert, a dear brother-in-law to Robert McVeigh, Mary Creaney and Anne McEvoy, and loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

Hugh will repose at the family home, 21 Brankinstown Road, Aghalee, BT67 0DF today Saturday, where family and friends are welcome to call and pay their respects.

Funeral from his home on Sunday at 1.15pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Aghagallon, where Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 2.00 pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

St Augustine pray for him.

Always loved and remembered by his sorrowing family.
