HEFFER Ian Terrence (Ted) passed away suddenly at home 4th August 2026. Beloved husband of Carolyn, proud father of Gary & Mark. Ted will be very sadly missed by the entire family circle.

Family and friends will be made welcome in Ted’s late home, 8 Maple Crescent, Dunmurry from 7.00 pm on Monday 10 August to pay their respects.

House private on the morning of the funeral, please.

A Celebration of Ted’s life will take place in Roselawn Crematorium on Wednesday 12th August at 3:20pm.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, can be made to The Royal British Legion via Ted’s tribute page at tedheffer.muchloved.com

Dear Carolyn and family
I was extremely saddened to hear of Ian’s passing, although not a close personal friend it always felt otherwise because of the way Berni frequently spoke of him with such affection.
It was also a privilege and a pleasure to spend time with you both while in Malta at the same time.
He was without doubt one of a kind x
