Jack(ie) BONNER
Died 23rd April 2023
The Family of Jack Bonner wish to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who have sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved Dad, Brother, Brother-in-law, Grandad, Great Grandad, Cousin and Uncle.
A special thanks to Uncle Seamus & Aunt Emma who offered their home for dad's wake & supported us throughout.
Thank you to everyone who called to the wake, sent mass and sympathy cards, provided food and attended the house, mass and cemetery.
Thank you also to those who travelled distances to mourn with us and to all who extended sympathies and prayers from afar.
We would like to especially thank dad's neighbours from Thorndale and Carnhill, the carers who looked after dad at home especially Shirley and Catherine, to Jane Cregan our ‘earth angel’, to the Alzheimer's Society , Carnhill Resource Centre & the Churches Trust who visited dad in his home, the entire team at Racecourse Medial Practice, the district Nursing Team, Staff of A&E and especially Mr. Rice who ensured dad was cared for to the highest standards. To all at Owen Mor Care Centre for the way that they cared for and loved dad, also to the acute care at home team.
To Father Sean O’Donnell, thank you for your support before and after dad's passing, throughout the wake and in the preparation and delivery of the Requiem mass and burial.
Thanks to the Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren who made the mass especially personal, to George Hasson and Robert Goodman for the emotional trumpeting, to Eugene McCauley and Paddy Tyre for the music send off at the Graveside.
Finally an extension of gratitude to Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors, your dignity & professionalism over the course of the wake and funeral was exceptional.
It is impossible to thanks each and every one individually. Please accept this acknowledgement as an extension of our sincere thanks & appreciation.
Dad's Month's Mind Mass will be on Saturday the 20th of May at 6pm in St Brigid's Chapel, Carnhill.
