Died - 23rd December 2025
We, the daughters and family of the late Seamus Deery wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude for all the kindness, support and sympathy we received on our recent loss of our much loved and cherished Daddy, Granda, brother and uncle.
Thankyou to everyone who paid their respects for Seamus, those who attended the wake or funeral, brought food, sent flowers, sympathy cards & heartfelt messages or remembered us in prayer during the most difficult time, your kindness will never be forgotten.
We will be eternally grateful to the palliative care team, Foyle Hospice and Marie Curie nurses. All the staff in Ward 26 Altnagelvin. The community respiratory team, district nurses and home community carers for the comfort, compassion and care given to Seamus during his illness.
Thankyou to all the staff of Northside Medical Shantallow for your ongoing support and care.
Thankyou to Bradley & Mc Laughlin undertakers for their professional, sensitive and dignified manner which every aspect of the wake and funeral arrangements were carried out.
Thankyou to Father Mehaw St.Joseph’s Chapel, Galliagh for a beautiful mass and his kind words of support at such a difficult time.
A special Thankyou to Erin Carlin and Ramon Ferguson for providing the lovely music.

Seamus' Month mind mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, Galliagh on Tuesday 27th January at 7pm.
