James Gamble (Jim) MARTIN

The wife and family of the late James Gamble Martin (Jim) would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all our family circle, friends, and neighbours in Bush, Dungannon for their care and support during our recent bereavement.

We sincerely thank all who sent cards, phoned or attended the funeral. We are eternally grateful to those who cared for Jim in his final months; the doctors and nurses in Daisy Hill hospital, Dr Scott, Elaine and the staff at Belfast City Oncology team, the Coalisland District Nursing team, Adrian and the staff of Gordon’s Chemist in Dungannon.

A special thank you to Dr McQuillan of Moy Health Centre for his professionalism and the manner in which he cared for Jim. A heartfelt thank you to Rebecca and the team of carers from the trust who looked after Jim so well and with so much dedication also his niece Hannah Gilmore who was invaluable to the family. A thank you to Ann’s Homecare also for providing your colleague Anne. A special word of heartfelt appreciation to the Marie Curie nurses who cared for Jim in the final weeks. Your dedication, care and professionalism will never be forgotten.

Thank you to Rev Ewart for all his pastoral support and the dignified way he carried out the funeral service. A thank you to all those who contributed and helped at the wake and to the funeral service and afterwards in the making of tea. A thank you also to the Dungannon Branch of the British Legion and especially John for all his help with Jim.

A special thanks and appreciation to Fred Martin & Sons Funeral Directors for their dignified and professional manner in which they carried out Jim’s wishes and funeral arrangements. A sincere thank you to Irene who’s help and advice was invaluable.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, or if there is someone we forgot, we apologies but we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as the family’s sincere appreciation.
Helen, Alastair, Laura, Zara & Alex
