MATEER, James Hamilton (Jay) – 28th August 2026.

Peacefully at Lagan Valley Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, aged 88 years, late of Glen Court, Ravernet Road, Lisburn.

Beloved husband of Eve, loving and much-loved father of Ingrid and Alistair, dear father-in-law to Michael and Shirley. Dearly loved Grandad of Tom and Adam. Loving brother to Pat and the late Roy.

A service of thanksgiving will be held in Railway Street Presbyterian Church, Lisburn on Thursday 3rd September at 1.00pm, followed by committal in Roselawn Crematorium at 4.00pm.
