O’Callaghan (Bessbrook) James “Jimbo” RIP, passed away peacefully in Daisy Hill Hospital, 8th February 2026.
Dearly beloved husband of the late Unity RIP, devoted father to Jacqueline (Thomas), Paul (Shirley), Philip and Gary (Phrynee), loving Granda Jimbo to Stephen, Aaron, Seán, Ciarán, Aidan and Conor, dearest brother to Viola, Helen, Ronald, Ann, Gerard and the late Sean, Brian, Leen and Maureen RIP and a cherished brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

Jim’s remains will repose on Monday evening from 6-9pm and Tuesday 12-2pm & 6-9pm in Mallon’s Funeral Home Mill Rd, Bessbrook BT35 7DT. Funeral leaving 10:30am Wednesday for 11am Requiem Mass in the Church of The Good Shepherd, Cloughreagh.
Interment in Ss Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Bessbrook.
Family home strictly private, respectfully.
Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family circle, neighbours and many friends.
