Jim's nieces and nephews, Jim (Marian), Mary (James), Brendan (Debbie), Michael, Gerry, Bernadette (Kai), John (Cuisle), Jerry (Eileen), Deidre (Eric), Kieran and grand nieces and nephews Alexandria (Ian), Siobhan, Patrick, Ronan, Gabriel, Fintan, Sean, Muireann, Ayda, Julia, Jana, Reagan, Mary Kate, Owen, and Jim's cousins, Dympna (Teddy), Róisín (Jimmy), Jane and Josie (Martin) and their families would like to express their deepest gratitude to everyone who supported and sympathised with them on their recent sad loss of their treasured uncle and cousin.

Heartfelt thanks to Jim's friends, neighbours and anyone who helped in any way, both during Jims time in hospital and at his wake.

Sincere thanks to those who attended the wake or funeral Mass, sent cards, sent online messages of condolences, telephoned and those who travelled long distances to attend the wake/ funeral.

We would especially like to thank Fr. Chester for the pastoral care provided to Jim prior to his passing and for celebrating a very fitting funeral Mass for Jim. Thanks also to the readers, Eucharistic Ministers, to Nicola, the organist and the Roslea Church Choir and to anyone who contributed to making Jim’s funeral a personal and reverent celebration.

Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Connolly Funeral Directors for their support and professionalism in carrying out the arrangements for the wake and the funeral. Thank you to Peter McMahon Funeral Home for providing such a beautiful and reflective space for Jim's viewing hours. A special thanks to Con who prepared Jim’s final resting place in such a respectful manner. Our thanks to Roslea Shamrocks GFC for the use of the complex and Caroline Niblock for the catering after the funeral.

A special mention of thanks to to all the staff of Cavan General Hospital including the paramedics and particularly the doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff who looked after Jim and who cared for him with love, compassion and dignity.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all in grateful appreciation.

Jim’s Months Memory Mass will be held on Friday 12th September 2025 at 7:00pm in St. Tierney’s Church, Roslea.

We will miss you greatly our kind uncle Jim, may your gentle soul Rest In Peace.
