Acknowledgement,
Carlin James (Jimmy)
Mitchelbourne Terrace, Fintona.
Died 16th July 2022.

The family of the late James Carlin wishes to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our sad loss. We offer our heartfelt thanks to our friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited the house, attended the wake and attended the service and burial and those who provided support at this difficult time. Jimmy was a very special and devoted family man and was a much loved, brother, uncle, brother in law, father and friend to everyone that knew him. A special word of thanks to the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the Police Service of Northern Ireland who responded quickly and attended to Jimmy with dignity and respect. Special thanks to McAtees Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Tommy for preparing Jimmy’s final resting place.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán for the beautiful service and support he provided. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who was involved within the Mass setting including those that done readings, the prayers of the faithful, the reflection and those that carried up the gifts. Thanks to James McShane for the beautiful music he provided at the service. Special thanks to Rachel Thompson, Emma and Ryan Brown and Orla Carlin who kept the kitchen ticking over at the wake, thank you to everyone that sent Mass cards or left condolences online, this is greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone who lined the street to pay their respects to Jimmy.
We’d also like to thank Ian Thompson Jr for all his assistance and help. Thank you to McAtees Bar and Restaurant for providing the refreshments after Jimmy’s funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement of our family’s deepest appreciation.
Jimmy’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Tuesday 16th August 2022 at 10am and can also be viewed on the parish webcam.
