The death has occurred of:
James (Sonsie) McGLINCHEY
McGLINCHEY, 1st October 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, JAMES (SONSIE), beloved husband of the late Sadie, loving father of Mickey, Harry, Jim, Thomas, Ashling and the late Sharon, a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather and a dear and loving brother of all his deceased brothers and sisters. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle.
Sonsie will be reposing at his home, 18 Westway, on Friday 2nd October from 3:30pm.
Family time please from 11:00pm to 10:00am.
Funeral leaving his home on Sunday 4th October at 11:35am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 12:15pm. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
