James HAUGHEY
The entire family of the late Jimmy Haughey (RIP), Portstewart, wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement.
We are deeply touched by the many messages of sympathy, Mass cards, kind words, prayers, and thoughtful gestures received from extended family, friends, neighbours, parishioners and wider community upon Jimmy’s passing. Your support during this difficult time brings us great comfort and strength, and we are truly grateful for the kindness and expressions of deepest respect shown to Jimmy.
A special word of thanks to Fr Kevin McGuckien P.P. for his pastoral care and celebrating Requiem Mass together with Monsignor Barney McAleer and Bridgeen McNicholl for the beautiful music arrangement during Mass and final hymn at the cemetery; to all the church volunteers for their service to the parish.
Unimaginable thank you to the first responders, doctors, nurses and staff in Causeway Hospital A&E and Acute Elder Stroke Ward comfort care team who attended Jimmy in his final days enabling family 24*7 visitation, no words can express how much this meant to the family and Jimmy in hour of need. Thanks to those who travelled great distances to attend Jimmy’s wake, his removal of remains for overnight reception in Star of the Sea Church and Requiem Mass.
Thanks especially to Allan, Alison and all the staff at Hugh Wade & Son Funeral Directors for their dignified, kind, professional guidance throughout all funeral arrangements. Impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.
