Jeanette DOHERTY
We, the family of the late Jeanette Doherty, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all our family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and extended relations who supported us through our recent bereavement.
Family and friends meant everything to Jeanette, and we have taken great comfort from the love and strength shown to us over the past weeks. All visits, messages, Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, prayers and shared memories have been a tremendous source of support at the wake, funeral and in the days since.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Gastroenterology Team at Altnagelvin Hospital and to the staff of the North West Cancer Centre for their care, compassion and dignity shown to Jeanette throughout her short illness. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Thanks to Fr Sean for delivering a beautiful requiem mass and to all the musicians Eilidh Wild, Aideen McGinn, Peter Tracey, Sinead Burnside and a Thyme to Sing Choir who made the mass so moving and personal to Jeanette.
Our thanks especially go to our extended family who carried us through the days before Jeanette’s passing and during the wake and funeral. We will never be able to thank you enough. You gave so much without being asked. We could not have done this without you, and we thank you for your continuing love, care and support.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere and lasting appreciation.
Jeanette’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 27th February at 7:30pm in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Everyone welcome.
