The death has occurred of:
Jim GILLESPIE
GILLESPIE, 21st February 2026, peacefully, after a long illness, at Altnagelvin Hospital, JIM (formerly of Longtower Street), beloved partner of Grainne-Maeve, loving father of Sharon, Caroline, Michael and Sinead, cherished son of the late Dickie and Sarah, dear and loving brother of John, Martin, Annmarie, Paul, Nichola and the late Richard and a caring uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle.
Jim will be reposing at his home, Apt. 1, Riverview Apartments, John Street, on Sunday 22nd February from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and on Monday from 11:00am to 9:00pm.
Funeral leaving his home on Tuesday 24th February at 9:30am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
