The death has occurred of:
Jimmy COLGAN
The wife and family of the late Jimmy Colgan (Lagavar) wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all who supported them following their sad loss.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who called at the house, who attended the wake and funeral, and for the kindness shown through messages, phone calls, gifts, cards and flowers. Your support brought great comfort at a difficult time. A word of gratitude to those who donated in lieu of flowers to Marie Curie in Jimmy's memory.
A special word of thanks must go to Dalriada Family Practice, The District Nursing Team, The Staff of McCaughan Chemists, Haematology specialists, ENT specialists and Urology specialists for their care and attention over the past number of years. We also appreciate greatly the nursing care of the Staff of Surgical 1 of the Causeway hospital who looked after Jimmy and indeed the family in his final days.
Sincere thanks to Revd Patrick Barton for his pastoral visits to both the hospital and the home and for conducting a very personal and meaningful funeral service. Thanks to David Kerr for playing in the organ and those who helped at the church in any way.
Thank you to the Liam Reid Catering team for providing the delicious after funeral tea.
We thank all at D J M Robinson and Son Undertakers for the dignified, caring and professional manner in which the wake and funeral were carried out.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our gratitude.
Jimmy will always be remembered by his wife Annie, children Sharon (Peter), David (Jackie) and Raymond (Jackie), grandchildren Jim (Laura), Jayne (James), Courtney (Jason), Emma, Sam, Adam and Ethan, great grandchildren Chloe and Sophia and the wider family circle.
