The death has occurred of:
Joan Quinn VAUGHAN
The family of the late Joan Quinn-Vaughan, Ballinamallard, who passed away on the 21st January 2026 wish to express our deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and helped us during our recent bereavement. Your sympathy, support, love and kindness have not gone un-noticed and we will forever be thankful.
We are grateful beyond words to our extended family, to mum’s friends, neighbours and the church community - you all provided a great friendship and support throughout her life, you surrounded us with love and support even though you grieved with us.
Thank you to all who travelled to Ballycassidy Funeral Home and to the Service of Thanksgiving in Magheracross Parish Church and to those who watched online. To those who sent sympathy cards, made phone calls, and sent messages both personally and on social media. To those who sent donations in lieu of flowers to the Magheracross Parish Church Organ Repair Fund. It truly brought home to us how much she meant to so many people and we are thankful beyond words.
A special thanks to Rev. Lorraine Capper for her tremendous support and for a beautiful, personal and fitting funeral service. To the Magheracross Church choir with whom mum was long associated for their beautiful contribution to the funeral service along with the organists and readers, and to the Mother's Union ladies who provided refreshments after the service.
A special thanks to Keith Elliott (W.T. Morrison Funeral Directors) and his staff along with Austen Stinson for the professional, sympathetic and dignified manner in which they carried out mum’s wishes.
A special thanks to Dr Conor O’Neill and his team in Altnagelvin Hospital and to the staff in A&E & Ward 1 in the South West Acute Hospital for their excellent care.
Finally, it is impossible to name everyone who is owed a word of thanks individually but you are all in our hearts, and we extend a very special thank you to you all.
We hope you will accept this as an acknowledgement of our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to you all.
“Never more than a thought away, Loved and remembered every day”
