Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at 15.15 on Wednesday 18th March 2026 15 days after receiving a terminal diagnosis.

Dearly loved mum of Joanne, louise, Gillian and of course Yan. Cherished Nana of Remi, Abbi, Alfie, Mason and Isabella.

A service of thanksgiving to celebrate her life will be held at Wilton Funeral Home, Ravenhill Road on Wednesday 25th March at 9.15am followed by a short committal service in Roselawn crematorium.

Joan will be resting in Wilton Funeral home and if anyone wishes to pay their respects can do so on Monday 23rd March between 5pm and 9pm.

Family flowers only please, Joanies wishes! Donations on the other hand can be made to Kenya Sunbeam Ministries, a charity very close to her heart. Link below https://www.kenyasunbeamministries.co.uk/donate-1

I hope that doesnt mean I took you for granted.

Ah your kids and grandkids did you proud yesterday. They were obviously as proud of you as you were of them.
I wish them comfort in the times ahead knowing they will miss you dreadfully .
