The husband, children and family of the late Joan Harkin, who died 10th April 2023, would like to thank most sincerely, all those who sympathised with them on their great loss. We offer a heartfelt thanks to Joan’s many friends and to those who cared for her in any way during her illness.
A special word of appreciation to the staff of the Bridgewater Suite in Belfast City Hospital, the staff of Ward 50 Altnagelvin, the staff of Clarendon Medical, and the staff of the Foyle Hospice, Derry.
Thank you to the staff of ICU Letterkenny Hospital, for the friendship and love of Joan. Your guard of honour at her funeral was greatly appreciated.
Fr Gormley, we are grateful for the gentle, prayerful funeral mass, and thank you to the readers and to Aoibh Logue for her beautiful singing and music which give us time to reflect. Thank you to Bradley and Mc Laughlin Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements.
It would be impossible to thank you all individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Joan’s Months Mind Mass will be held on Saturday 13th May at 6pm in Ballymagroarty Chapel.
