Words cannot describe the loss we felt
Saying farewell to you,
But heaven chose to give you wings and it was your time to fly.
We wish that we could have had more time, That God had let you stay.
Forever would not be long enough
But we would take one day.
We wish we had just one more chance To see that tender smile, to laugh with you again, Just for a little while.
Forever you will remain, our guiding light, our shining star, sadly missed along life's way. Quietly remembered every day. No longer in our lives to share, but in our hearts you are always there. Love and missed everyday.
Joan’s first anniversary mass will take place on Saturday 31st January 2026 in St Mary’s Chapel, Creggan at 6:30PM.
