Adrian, Erin, Phyllis and the entire family circle of the late Joanne R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.
We are deeply appreciative of the district nurses, the team of carers, and the Foyle Hospice nurses for their compassion, care and dedication to Joanne.
A special thanks to Fr. Canny P.P. for his spiritual support, guidance and for celebrating the Requiem Mass and Fr Crowley for his pastoral visit to the family home.
Thanks to Coleen Gormley and Maeve McAteer for the beautiful music; the church sacristan, Ardmore Parish for use of their facilities and those who provided refreshments after the funeral, and David Thompson who prepared the grave.
Joanne’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all relatives, friends, neighbours, our local club who went above and beyond, including organising a guard of honour for Joanne, and the wider community for the kindness and support shown during this difficult time. We are especially grateful to those family members who kept in close contact and generously provided meals and home baking. We also extend our thanks to everyone who sent messages or cards, phoned, visited the home, made donations, and those who gathered along the route to the Church and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful.
The family wish to sincerely thank McKiernan and Sons, Funeral Directors, namely Michael Og, for the respectful and professional way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and for the guidance and support provided throughout. Your kindness and attention to detail meant a great deal to us.
The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
The month mind Mass for Joanne will be celebrated on Saturday 16th May at 6pm in St. Mary’s Church, Ballerin.
