HEGARTY (Cookstown) Joe, peacefully, after a long illness March 29th 2026. (R.I.P). Beloved husband of Sheila (nee Weir). Father of Elaine ( Chambers) , Stephen and Kelley ( Loughran). Step father of Gavin (Jane). Grandfather of Robyn, Cole, Troy, Jamie, Katy, Lucy, Brodie, Millie, Maggie, Charlie, Johnnie. Step grandfather of Nuala, Ronan and Finnian. Brother of Brendan, Andy, Thomas, Sean, Anne and the late Martin and Mary (R.I.P). Son of the late Martin and Elizabeth (R.I.P).
Joe’s remains will repose at Niall A Loughran’s Funeral Home for a wake today Monday (March 30th) from 5pm - 9pm.
Funeral leaving his home, 178A Orritor Road, Cookstown on Tuesday at 1:10pm for 1:30pm Requiem Mass in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity Cookstown, burial afterwards in Forthill Cemetery. Joe’s Requiem Mass can be viewed using the link below:
