The family of the late Joe Kennedy, his wife Sheila, daughters, sons, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and wider family circle would like to extend our grateful thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported us during our recent sad bereavement. To all who assisted during the wake, brought food, sent their condolences or helped in any way we will alway be eternally grateful. Words can not express our gratitude for the kindness which was shown towards us at this sad time.

We would like to thank Glenview Nursing Home for the great care which our dad received during his time there. Thanks to the Rev Fr Hannigan for the beautiful Requiem Mass and for reading the Eulogy which was so thoughtfully prepared by his son Michael. Thanks also to Sheila Loughran, Eucharist Minister, and to Laura McGurk for the beautiful music. Thanks to Paudge Quinn, Funeral Director, for the dignified way in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger for preparing the grave for dads final resting place. Thanks also to Quinn’s Corner for the funeral lunch afterwards.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgment will convey our gratitude to all who supported us during our mourning. The months mind Mass will be in St Joseph’s Church, Ackinduff on Monday 10th November 2025 at 7.30pm..
