The family of the late Joe McCallion would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our family and friends and everyone who attended the wake and funeral of our beloved brother, uncle and great-uncle.
To all those who offered condolences, sent mass cards and donations in lieu of flowers, thankyou.
A special word of thanks to the paramedic team and Kevin, Emma and Ruth who assisted Joe in his final moments, and a special word of thanks also to Séan Toye, Joe’s neighbour and friend and also his life-long friend Alec Orr.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Gerard Mongan for his empathy, kindness and support throughout Joe’s wake and for the compassionate and dignified manner in which he celebrated the Requiem Mass.
A special thankyou to Lauren and Bethany for their beautiful singing during Joe’s Mass and to Ashlene for her kindness and help, in providing the lovely food over the wake.
Our sincere thanks to Mr. Kieran Connor and his staff at McClafferty Funeral Directors for the care, dignity and professionalism they showed our family and for their kindness and guidance during such a difficult time, was very greatly appreciated.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere expression of our deepest gratitude.
