ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The family of the late John Francis Gamble (Francy) wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who supported and sympathised with us during our recent and very sad loss.
Special thanks to our family, friends and neighbours, everyone that attended the wake and funeral and all who helped us at this sad time and to the many people who were unable to attend but have passed on their respects and sent mass cards.
Our sincere thanks to Fr Canny for the Requiem Mass and lovely eulogy, Fidelma McNamee and Shay Austin for the beautiful music and we would also like to thank Fr. Boland of Immaculate Conception Church, Strabane, for the blessing and prayers at the graveside.
Thank you also to the Family Centre, Trench Road, for providing the chairs and tea making facilities for the wake. This was greatly appreciated.
Thanks also to WJ O’Brien and Son, funeral directors, Eglinton, for their caring, dignified and professional manner in which they organised the funeral.
Francy's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated at 6.00pm on Saturday 7th March 2026 in The Immaculate Conception Church, Trench Road, Derry. All welcome.
