We would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped make Dad’s final months so special and memorable. Thank you for the prayers and Masses offered, the Novenas said, and for the many visits made to spend time with Daddy at home.
We are deeply grateful to all who attended his funeral, especially Fr Raymond McCullagh from the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association of the Sacred Heart and the members of Precious Life who came to pay their respects. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the domiciliary care staff, district nurses, and to Dr Hugh Gallagher and his colleagues at Glenavy Family Practice for the compassion, care, and kindness shown to Dad throughout his illness.
A special word of thanks to Fr John Burns for officiating Dad’s Requiem Mass and visiting dad often, to Canon Colm McBride of Glenavy and Killead Parish for his pastoral care to dad and our family, and to dear friend of the family, Fr Chris McGuinness, who visited Dad in hospital and at home.
We would also like to thank Peter and his colleagues at Eastwood Funeral Directors for the care and dignity shown to our father, Sean. Both Dad and our family were treated with the utmost respect and compassion throughout.
Sean’s Month’s Mind service will be held in the Mater Dei Church, Crumlin on Tuesday 9th June at 7.00pm
Finally, we are sincerely grateful to the dedicated staff of Marie Curie, Northern Ireland Hospice at Home, and NI Pancreatic Cancer for their support, guidance, and care for Dad and our family over the past few months, especially during the final days of his life.
