Died 8th May 2026 peacefully at Slieve Dhu Nursing Home, Newcastle.
Dearly beloved father to Marina, Adrian, Paul and Victoria. Loving son of the late Harry and Eileen. Devoted grandfather to Lara and Adam. Dear brother of Eddie, Pat, Michael and the late Gerard and Brendan, much loved uncle and friend.
John’s remains will be reposing in Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Home, 24 English Street, Downpatrick BT30 6AB on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May with family present from 6pm to 8pm.
His remains will then leave on Monday 11th May 2026 at 10.30am to arrive for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick's Church, Downpatrick followed by interment in St Patricks Cemetery, Killough Road.
Saint Padre Pio Pray for him.
Deeply regretted by his family circle.
