McKenna, John - R.I.P. Late of 62 Camlough Road, Newry. 3rd February 2026, peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Agnes, loving father of Sean (Louise), Eamonn (Helen), Raymond (Kathy), Eugene (Cherry), Cathy, Barry (Catherine) and the late Margaret (Damian) and Michael, a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather and a loving partner to Sandra.

John’s remains will repose in McGennity’s Funeral Home,18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ on Wednesday evening (4th February) from 6-9pm and on Thursday (5th February) from 2-4pm and from 6-8pm. Removal from the funeral home on Friday morning (6th February) at 10.00am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.30am in St. Patrick and St. Colman’s Cathedral, Newry. Burial afterwards in Monkshill cemetery.

Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.

Very deeply regretted by his loving sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, partner Sandra and the extended family circle.

May he rest in peace.
