We, the family of the late John Belshaw would like to express our sincere gratitude for the many expressions of sympathy and support we received during our recent bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended the funeral, sent cards or messages of sympathy, or supported us in any way during this difficult time. Your kindness has been a great comfort.
Special thanks to Fr. Brown for his support and for arranging and celebrating the funeral Mass. Thanks also to Deacon Sean for the prayers on the morning of the funeral and his support during the Mass.
Heartfelt appreciation go to the district nursing team, the Marie Curie nurses, the carers from Jark, the palliative care team and Montalto medical centre for their exceptional care and compassion shown during John's illness. We will be forever grateful.
Our thanks go also to Maureen McGlew for the lovely hymns, to the organist Monica Magoran for the music and to Daphie Scott for providing the catering after the funeral.
We also wish to express our sincere appreciation to Gerard McMullan Funeral Directors for the caring and dignified way in which they handled the funeral arrangements.
John's Month's Mind Mass will be held on Saturday 22nd August at 6pm in St. Patrick's Church, Ballynahinch.
