Acknowledgment & Month’s Mind Mass

The family of the late John Brady (Drummurrer, Clonoe) wish to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who sympathised and provided support for them on the recent loss of their beloved brother, uncle, brother-in-law and Clonoe O’Rahilly stalwart.

We offer our sincere thanks to our wider family circle, friends and neighbours and to everyone from near and far who called at his wake, attended his funeral, watched online, offered condolences, prayers, online tributes, sent flowers, Mass and sympathy cards. Thanks to everyone who helped in any way during the wake including those who provided food - friends, family, neighbours, St Vincent de Paul and also to those who provided stewarding and parking facilities.

A special word of thanks to the Domiciliary Nurses along with all the nursing, medical and support work staff who cared for John with compassion, dignity, kindness and respect over the past several years.

Many thanks to Fr John McCallion for celebrating John’s Requiem Mass and also to Canon Benny Fee for his compassionate pastoral care of John during the last number of years.

Also thanks to those who participated in his funeral Mass including his nieces and nephews, sacristan - Margaret Taggart, grave digger - Gary Harte, singer - Margaret Ann Conlon, musician - Mickey O’Neill.

Special thanks to Clonoe O’Rahilly’s GFC who provided help and assistance at the wake and funeral, including his guard of honour at both the O’Rahilly Club and funeral Mass. Thanks also to the Clonoe Community Centre for the use of their facilities both during John’s wake and after his funeral Mass, where Kelly-Anne Corr provided lovely refreshments.
