The family of the late John Carey wish to express their heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to all who supported and sympathised with them during their recent bereavement.

We are deeply grateful to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, online messages, or who helped in any way during this difficult time. Your kindness and support have been a great comfort to us.

A special word of thanks to Dr Boyd, Dr Dawood and all the team at the Mandeville Unit Craigavon for their care of Dad. Our sincere thanks to all the doctors and nurses of Parkview Surgery Dungannon for their care and professionalism. To the district nurses and Dad’s wonderful carers for their compassion and dedication over the past year.

To the doctors and staff of 3 North in Craigavon hospital, especially the nurses for the exceptional care and comfort they provided for Dad in his last few weeks. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

The family would also like to convey their sincere gratitude to Paudge Quinn Funeral Directors for their exceptional kindness, compassion and professionalism in handling all the funeral arrangements. Their support and guidance throughout this difficult time were greatly appreciated. To Quinns Corner for providing refreshments after the funeral mass.

We would like to thank to Fr Deveney for his gentle guidance and for celebrating John’s beautiful requiem mass. Thanks also to the gravediggers for preparing the grave. Thanks to Catherine Grimley and Dermot who added a special touch to the service with their wonderful music, and to all who participated during the liturgy.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.

John’s month’s mind will be celebrated in St Joesph’s Church, Caledon on Sunday 15th March at 10am.
