We the family of the late John Devine wish to express our sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to all who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement.
Thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, conveyed kind messages of support and sent donations in lieu of flowers to Macmillan Cancer Support.
We are especially grateful to our extended family, friends, and neighbours for their continued love and support, and to those who sent food and helped with refreshments during the wake.
Our sincere thanks to Fr. Brian Donnelly P.P. for his continued spiritual support to Dad throughout his illness and for the beautiful Requiem Mass.
Thank you to all those who took part in the Mass and to Pat Bradley and Shaunagh Poyntz for the beautiful music.
Thank you to Dr. McAuley, Dr. Mangard, and all the staff at Sperrin Family Practice,
Corrys Chemist and with special thanks to the District Nurses for their care and assistance over the past year.
A very special word of thanks to the ladies of Glen Caring for the compassion, dignity,
and kindness they showed to Dad throughout his final year. We, as a family, will be eternally grateful.
To Dad’s neighbours Mickey & Wendy and Claire & Jim, thank you doesn’t seem enough for your ongoing help and support to Dad over the last nine years, as a family we will never be able to express how much it meant to Dad and to us.
Thank you also to Thomas Quigley & Son Funeral Directors for their dignified and professional service,
and to the grave digger for preparing Dad’s final resting place.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Dad’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at 10.00 a.m. on Sunday, 23rd November 2025
in the Sacred Heart Church, Plumbridge.
