John Hughes
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Hughes of Cavalier Court, Antrim on the 12th August 2026, peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of Angela and loving father of Francis, father in law to Louise and doting grandfather to Edana and Imogen, brother to Joseph, Michael, Teresa(Strathern), Geraldine (Martin) and the late Francie, Nan (Hughes), Margaret (Magill) and Patricia(Fullerton).
John will be reposing at his late residence 1 Cavalier Court, Antrim, when his wake will begin on Thursday 13th August from 6.00pm to 9.00pm, and on Friday from 12.00 to 9.00pm.
John’s remains will be moved from his late residence on Saturday 15th August at 12.30pm to St Comgall's Church, Antrim for 1.00 pm requiem Mass. Interment immediately afterwards in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cargin.
Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, son, daughter-in-law, brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grand children and the entire family circle.
