John LUNDY
We, the family of John Lundy who passed away on 30th August 2026 wish to express our thanks to our family, friends and neighbours who called over the wake, sent mass cards, sympathy cards and made donations to the PSP Association.
We would like to thank the Lydian Carers, District Nurses, Stream Street Surgery and other health professionals who cared for John. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses in Ward 2 in the Downe Hospital who nursed and cared for John over the last months of his illness.
We would like to thank Fr. Aidan Brankin and Deacon Jackie Breen for celebrating the Requiem Mass.
Thank you to Hanlon’s Downpatrick and Duffy’s Killough for the catering, Saul GAC for the use of their premises and to Sarah McVeigh for the beautiful music.
Thank you to Charles Rourke and Sons Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deepest thanks and appreciation.
Johns Months Mind Mass will take place on Sunday 27th September 2026 in St. Patricks Church, Saul at 9:30am.
