John McKEEVER
In Loving Memory of John McKeever
Acknowledgement and Month's Mind Mass
The family of the late John McKeever, 16 Sistrakeel Road, Ballykelly, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our family, friends and everyone who attended the wake and funeral of our beloved Daddy and Granda.
To all those who offered condolences, sent messages, Mass cards and flowers, or reached out to us with kindness, prayers and support throughout Daddy's illness and in the days leading up to and following his funeral, we are truly grateful.
We would just like to say a heartfelt thankyou to Jordan for the love, dignity and grace you showed in carrying out Daddy's final wishes and organising his funeral.
We would especially like to express our sincere appreciation to our lifelong friend and neighbour, Pearl, and to Britteny, Caitlin, our cousins and friends, for taking such good care of everyone during the wake. Your kindness and help meant so much to us.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Father Harkin for his empathy, kindness and support throughout Daddy's wake, and for the compassionate and dignified manner in which he celebrated the Funeral Mass.
A special thank you to Hannah Ferguson for her beautiful singing during Daddy's Funeral Mass, which made the service all the more meaningful.
We would like to say a massive thankyou to all the bikers who rode proudly in front of daddy's hearse giving him such a beautiful and respectful send off.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Jimmy O'Hara and Willie Kerr from the St. Finlough's Hall community for their kindness and help, and to Currans Bakery for providing the lovely spread of food following the funeral.
Our sincere thanks also go to Kieran O'Brien and Gregory from WJ O'Brien and Son Funeral Directors for the care, dignity and professionalism they showed our family throughout Daddy's funeral arrangements. Their kindness and guidance during such a difficult time were greatly appreciated.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of A&E, Ward 26, the North West Cancer Centre, and the lung doctors and nurses at Altnagelvin Hospital, for the care, kindness and compassion they showed Daddy during his short time in hospital. We will always be grateful for the dignity and care he received.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere expression of our deepest gratitude.
Your kindness, love, prayers and support have brought us great comfort during this difficult time and will always be remembered.
Daddy's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 17th October at 6pm in St. Finlough's Church, Ballykelly.
Everyone is warmly welcome to attend.
The McKeever Family.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
