John’s wife Bernie, his brother David and the extended family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to everyone who offered support and sympathy since John’s death.

To all the Doctors and Nurses who cared for John during his illness, we are truly grateful for your care, compassion and kindness; Palliative care Omagh hospital, North West Cancer Centre Altnagelvin hospital, Wards 1&9 SWAH, Lakeside Medical Practice, the District Nurses, Rapid Response and Marie Curie staff.
Our thanks to Swift & McCaffrey Funeral Directors for the professional, sympathetic and dignified manner in which they conducted John’s wake and funeral.
Thanks also to Marita at Foxgloves & Ferns, Lisnaskea for the beautiful flower arrangements. Thank you to Westville Hotel for providing the very welcome food and refreshments afterwards.

John’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 28th March 2026 at 6pm in St. Michael’s Church, Enniskillen.
