Joseph (Joe) Bonner
It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph (Joe) Bonner, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, surrounded by his loving family on 7th October 2026.
Late of 6 Jacqueline Way, Derry. May he rest in peace.
Beloved husband of Agnes. Devoted father of Liam, Bernard, Joseph, Lynn and Martin. Dearest father-in-law of Eamonn, Máire, Cathy and Kate. Loving Granda of Jordan, Alison, Natalie, Chloe, Orláith, Reece, Eva, Ronan, Fionn, Carrie and the late Joey. A much loved Great-Granda to all of his precious great-grandchildren. Cherished son of the late William and Ellen(Nellie). Dearest brother of Seamus (Emma) and the late Jack, Mamie, Sadie, Bill and Ed. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Joe will be reposing at his late home, 6 Jacqueline Way from 4pm until 10pm today, Thursday 8th October. Funeral leaving from there on Friday 9th October at 10:50am for 11:30am Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery.
